Steve joined Goldfields Money Limited in July 2016 as the Risk and Compliance Manager. Steve has over 20 year’s commercial experience across banking, financial services and asset management firms. Steve started his career at the Reserve Bank of Australia in Bank Supervision, before working for the newly formed APRA. Since then Steve has developed a solid background in risk management, having held senior positions at St George Bank (market risk management), Abbey National Bank (credit portfolio management), Commonwealth Bank (derivative pricing and potential counterparty exposure management) , RAB Capital London (hedge fund Chief Risk Officer) and most recently at Baker Steel Capital Managers (Senior Fund Manager). Steve also has commercial experience in developing and implementing new products and platforms aimed at the retail market in Europe.
Steve received his Commerce Degree at Curtin University, Perth Western Australia after studying a double major in Banking and Finance. Other areas of study over his career include the Securities Institute of Australia whilst in Perth, the Master of Applied Finance course at Macquarie University in Sydney, the Investment Management Certificate in London and a licensing exam for Securities and Futures Intermediaries in Hong Kong.
Janice joined Goldfields Money Limited in February 2016 as the HR Consultant. Janice’s primary aim in this position is the strategic recruitment to target new key players in the growth and development of the business. Janice has had over 20 years experience as a Human Resources Leader holding senior positions within AGC, Westpac, CIBC World Markets Australia and Argonaut. Janice held a board positon at Argonaut for 10 years. Janice is a graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management completing Strategic Human Resource Management and has attained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
Jenna has worked for Goldfields Money Limited since October 2016 managing Perth office operations, project management oversight as well as marketing and event management. Jenna has over 10 years’ experience in projects both Perth and London based. She holds a Bachelor of Arts, Certified Associate in Project Management and is a Prince2 Practitioner.
Luke joined Goldfields Money Limited as Business Development Manager in October 2016. From 2003 to 2014 Luke spent 11 years working for Westpac Banking Corporation. Luke’s banking career has seen him hone his banking, finance and management skills through
various roles within the Retail, Commercial and Institutional banking segments. Luke has a good deal of credit experience and has spent a large part of his banking career focusing on country areas for Westpac. He is used to building strong relationships with commercial customers and driving revenue through cross selling products that tailor to each customer’s needs.
Most recently, Luke put his banking career on hold and has spent the last 2 years pursuing a business building and marketing app focused on digitising technology to connect traditional advertising to digital technology to tie electronic advertising to non-electronic advertising. Luke was appointed the CEO of Tiing and spent his time marketing the app to various businesses. Luke will work closely with the team to grow our portfolio of products and accelerate our drive into the mortgage broker market.
Nicole joined Goldfields Money in February 2017 and brings a wealth of credit experience with her. She has spent 20+ years in the banking industry with over 15 years in Consumer Lending. In her last role she was responsible for training managers in credit policies and procedures, and banking regulations. Nicole is passionate about credit and she takes pride in tailoring credit solutions to meet individual customer’s needs.
Ashli has been working with Goldfields money since February 2017 as an Administration Assistant. Since graduating high school in 2016 she has been doing various voluntary work gaining experience handling general administrative tasks and fund raising. She is currently studying a double degree in law and commerce at Curtin University.
Johanna has been the Credit Analyst for Goldfields Money since July 2017. Johanna holds a Bachelor of Commerce and after 20 years within the industry, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Goldfields Money Team. She has worked previously for major banks including the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Westpac Banking Corporation in both Australia and New Zealand, spending most of her time in the mortgage arena. On top of this, Johanna also developed a strong knowledge of the Broker market working for Bluestone. Johanna’s experience and passion has enabled her to transcend within the industry and provide her with the necessary skills to provide outstanding service.
Denise is the Supervisor for the Kalgoorlie branch of Goldfields Money Limited. She has been with the company for over 17 years and oversees the every day operational requirements of the business. Denise has a wealth of knowledge in banking and loves looking after our Goldfields customers as well as her team.
Brigitte is the Lending Supervisor at the Kalgoorlie branch of Goldfields Money Limited. She has been with Goldfields Money for over 22 years. Brigitte is our mortgage expert and looks after both direct customers as well as the many mortgage brokers that we look after all over WA. She can also help with business loan application approvals.
Helen has been with Goldfields Money Limited since July 2012. She is our quiet achiever, working away to ensure our customer needs are met. Pop into the branch to say hello.
Sherrie has been with Goldfields Money Limited since September 2002. Sherrie always greets our customers with a smile and is a champion of customer service.
Sue has been with Goldfields Money Limited since May 2005. Sue is a long standing employee and solid contributor to Goldfields Money. She is one of the Customer Service Officers who will greet you at our Kalgoorlie branch always armed with a smile and ready to help.
Marelize joined Goldfields Money Limited as a customer service officer in August 2016. She brings with her 15 years banking experience in both sales and service. Also working abroad in New Zealand and South Africa she learned the secret to world class customer service which she believes is empathy, know your customers and understand what they want. Marelize continues to be passionate and motivated to maintain that same level of service to our customers at Goldfields Money.
Chris has been with Goldfields Money Limited since August 2000 as the Business Development Manager for the Esperance branch. Chris manages the strategic development and sales for Goldfields Money Limited in the Esperance area, as well as looking after our daily operational requirements. He has a rich background in financial services of over 18 years having previously held positions in the Commonwealth Bank Group.
